Volunteer Opportunities for Members and Interns

Maureen Austin, the Stark County Agriculture & Natural Resources Extension Educator, has approved the following events for Volunteer (VOL) credit hours for Master Gardener Volunteers and Interns.

Some volunteer opportunities represent "ongoing" projects or activities that occur on various, multiple dates throughout the current growing season. Other opportunities may only be available at a specific date and time. These types of opportunities are listed below separately.

Various Community Gardens around Stark County
OSU Learning Gardens
Maintaining the OSU Learning Gardens (Phenology, Monarch Watch Waystation and the Rain Garden) through the first hard frost. Weeding, deadheading and possible watering will be the primary objectives. NOTE: Projected fall frost date is mid October.
