Volunteer Opportunities for Members and Interns

Maureen Austin, the Stark County Agriculture & Natural Resources Extension Educator, has approved the following events for Volunteer (VOL) credit hours for Master Gardener Volunteers and Interns.

Some volunteer opportunities represent "ongoing" projects or activities that occur on various, multiple dates throughout the current growing season. Other opportunities may only be available at a specific date and time. These types of opportunities are listed below separately.

We will also be meeting at the garden at 7th Street to weed and water throughout the summer months. Mondays at 3:00 PM seem to be the best time for our group. We will keep you informed of which Mondays we need to meet.

OSU Learning Gardens
Maintaining the OSU Learning Gardens (Phenology, Monarch Watch Waystation and the Rain Garden) through the first hard frost. Weeding, deadheading and possible watering will be the primary objectives. Please select times that you may be able to help.
